About the Role:
Elite Security Agency LLC is looking for a dedicated and professional Armed Security Officer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor assigned posts, facilities, and perimeters to deter criminal activity
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Carry and maintain authorized firearm in accordance with state regulations and company policy
- Screen and control access points, verifying credentials and managing visitor entry
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
- Provide a visible security presence to ensure the safety of personnel and property
Requirements:
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard License required
- Active NC Armed Security Guard certification or Pistol Permit required
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
- Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
